Refund Policy

01Pre-orders: cancel any time before publication

Changed your mind? You can cancel a pre-order for a full refund at any time before publication day. Email info@mothercomet.com from the address on your account and tell us which book.

02After publication day

Because you can start reading immediately, digital books are not returnable once they are available in your library. When you order, you agree that the book will be supplied to your library on publication day and that, from that moment, you lose the 14-day right of withdrawal that consumers in the EU and UK otherwise have.

03If something goes wrong

We will always refund you if:

• you were charged twice, or charged by mistake;
• the book cannot be read because of a problem on our side that we cannot fix within a reasonable time;
• the publication of a pre-ordered book is delayed and you no longer want it;
• the book is substantially different from its description.

04How refunds work

Write to info@mothercomet.com. We aim to reply within 2 working days. Approved refunds are made through Stripe to your original payment method, usually within 5–10 working days depending on your bank. When an order is refunded, the book is removed from your library.

05Before you dispute a payment

Please contact us before asking your bank to reverse a payment — we can usually help faster. While a payment dispute is open, access to the book is paused.
